Itinerary:

After picking up you at your hotel, we take you to a local family who have been involved in the process of making rice paper for more than 40 years and you will learn the traditional method of making rice paper. As you known, rice paper is an essential part of Vietnamese cuisine.You will be guided by the member of a local family step by step such as:

• Soaking the rice
• Grinding it into a paste
• Spreading it onto a large steamer to create a thin layer

Translucent sheets of rice paper. After making it, you can taste what you make. It is very delicious

Our tour continue  taking  you to the house of a craftsman where you will have a brief introduction to the history, and you will observe all the stages of making lanterns, then you try to make them by ourself with the guidance of enthusiastic craftsmen. The material is natural vietnamese silk (natural silk made from silk worms which is very famous in Asia). The silk has beautiful colors and meaningful patterns. The frames are made out of bamboo. Everything is hand made using bamboo, silk. After making your own lantern and you keep it as a souvenir

Leaving the lantern making family, we take you back your hotel & say good bye

Itinerary:

• Pick up 9 am at your hotel and transfer to Hoi An ancient town.
• Take a walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting 5 attractions such as:

1. *Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda: The first bridge on this site was constructed in 1593 by the town’s Japanese community, to link the town with the Chinese quarter across the water.
2. *Phung Hung Anceint House : It is considered cultural heritage of the town.  With over 200 years old, the house is a typical commercial house, prossesing unique structure with high wooden logs and broad corridors,
3. *Sa Huynh Museum: Located near the Japanese Covered Bridge, it contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history. 
4. *Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall: It reflects the style of the Chinese clans that settled in Hoi An.
5. *Hoi An Traditional Art Performance Theatre: The theatre, which offers live performances of Vietnamese folk music and folk dance, is located on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
